June Pup Crawl
It was Coconuts at “The Pup Crawl!” Mastiffs, Pomeranians, Terriers and more all showed up to show their support for local rescue Adopt A Rescue Pet  www.adoptarescuepet.org. The Pup Crawl is the idea of Canine Reporter..moi! I am a puppy mill puppy that has two furbrothers that were rescued by my furmom Carole McCabe-Joy. We both became involved in rescue after learning that I possibly came from a “puppy mill!” I came home with kennel cough and yes was not socialized! However with have two furbrothers T-Bear who we adopted from another local rescue Heaven Can Wait   www.hcws.org
And my furbrother Foxy who we found on the www.southerncaliforniapomeranianrescue.org rescue page on Face Book I am finally learning how to get along with other furs.

A big THANK YOU to the crew at FOX 5 who with the MORE Show helped up get The Pup Crawl get started off on the right "paw!" They had us on the MORE show where we were interviewed by Las Vegas' Fave Anchor Jason Feinberg www.facebook.com/pages/Jason-Feinberg/

All together The Pup Crawl has raised over $1400 for Adopt a Rescue Pet.  Since obtaining non-profit approval in 2000, Adopt A Rescue Pet has grown to be one of Nevada's largest animal rescue groups providing a safe haven for dogs suffering from abuse, neglect or homelessness. In most of these cases, death would have resulted if the animal had entered a municipally funded shelter.  Monthly operating expenses for food, medical care, transportation, and supplies exceed $7,000 per month.  With hundreds of animals in ARP’s programs on a given day, donations enable ARP to know how they will help tomorrow’s homeless dog to survive and provide what it needs.

Denise Ippolito the owner of FurBaby Pawtraits www.facebook.com/FurBabyPawtraits was at each Pup Crawl and provided “Puperazzi photos” that captured the special photos of you and your furry friends and new friends, both two legged and four! She will be offering special packages so that you can have that special “pawtrait” done of your fur that you might have always wanted to have done but never got around to doing. Also 25% of the proceeds of each package sold goes towards helping another fur in need.

We had two great sponsors that came aboard for two of the pup crawls and they will be onboard when we start up again in late September! Paw Prints Pet Supplies! They are family owned and run www.pawprintspetsuppliesnv.com.  Visit them, the cookie jar is always open! Paw Prints is located in the Smith's shopping center at 215 and Green Valley Pkwy. They carry Holistic, Organic, Natural and Raw food and treats by Natural Balance, Halo, Great Life, by Nature, Nutrisca, Earthborn, Canidae, Evangers, Tiki, Weruva, Instinct, Primal, Nature's Variety, Plato, Purebites, Chicken Soup, Healthwisel and more. They are a pet friendly store.

Check out Kewl Dog and Clyde as they go on many adventures together and help dog and animal charities at www.kewldog.comwww.kewldog.com. Their ultimate goal is to help out dog and animal charities. They also donate a percentage of their profits to rescue groups, animal charities, and no kill shelters. This cannot be done without your help. Please help us help all those animals that do not have a voice or a choice.

Thank you to all of those who hosted The Pup Crawls!"

Weimarner duo needs furever or foster home in Las Vegas!!

We only have a picture of the one dog.  The other dog is not up for adoption because he has a runny nose.  Both dogs were turned in together and are on their last day. Weimaraner rescue will take them but does not have a foster.  Both dogs are inside dogs and are good with large dogs and not cats.  If you can foster these dogs so the Weimaraner rescue can pull them from the shelter please contac Weimaraner rescue below.  Please don’t let these dogs go down because we cannot find a foster.  They deserve to live out their senior years.  They are 8 years old.

It's ON!! Las Vegas' First PUP Crawl to Benefit Adopt a Rescue Pet!!

IT’S ON!! LAS VEGAS’ PUP CRAWL TO BENEFIT ADOPT A RESCUE PET!
“Until there are none, rescue one!”

LAS VEGAS – On March 22nd the 1st “Las Vegas’ Pup Crawl to benefit Adopt A Rescue Pet” will take place at Brentwood Café and Tavern. What is a Pup Crawl? It is an opportunity for dog owners throughout the Las Vegas valley to get together, meet and greet and get to know each other. PLUS as long as your dog is well behaved and leashed they are WELCOME at all of the establishments listed below! As a matter of fact one of the RSVP’s joked that “the dogs are well behaved not sure of the humans!” All of this takes place at four neighborhood locations throughout Las Vegas and each event will raise money for local charity Adopt a Rescue Pet (http://www.adoptarescuepet.org.)

The “Pup Crawl” is the creative canine idea that was thought up by local former Puppy Mill puppy turned rescue advocate Lola Belle “The Canine Correspondent.”  Lola Belle is a Pomeranian who loves to be “social” and spread the word about how important it is to rescue and how many animals need good homes due to the economic downturn and the Las Vegas situation.  Lola Belle also opens up her home and her heart to Pomeranians who are looking for their furever homes and she refers to her home as the Pom Hotel!  Joining her in the hosting duties for the four “Pup Crawls” will be her “BF” Boy Fur, Gino Ippolito, who is also a rescued Pomeranian. Gino was rescued from a puppy mill in Louisiana and he was very ill. But with the loving attention of his fur Mom, Gino is now full of life and vitality! Since Lola’s two other fur brothers are rescues this is also why she feels so strongly about spreading the word and helping educate people about how important it is to rescue and “spay and neuter” your furry friend!

March’s “Pup Crawl” will take place at Brentwood Café & Tavern  where you can experience a bit of home while in Las Vegas; the fast-paced, entertainment capital of the world. At the Brentwood Cafe´ and Tavern you will find great food, drink and service with uncommon value and dining diversity.
With 300+ animals in ARP’s programs on a given day, donations enable ARP to know how they will help tomorrow’s homeless dog to survive and provide what it needs.

The Good Dog Food Company (http://www.gooddogfoodcompany.com) was started by Jillian & Ian, a couple who met in culinary school. After realizing the lack of freshly prepared dog foods on the market, they combined their two mutual passions: exceptional food and their bulldog, Trucker. After collaborating with veterinarians, veterinary nutritionists, and a master herbalist, they developed a canine cuisine unmatched in quality, nutritive value, and taste. The goal of The Good Dog Food Company is to make the dogs you love happier and healthier by giving them the safest and most nutritious food available.  When asked to “pawtcipate” there was no hesitation and they are now one of the Premium sponsors of the “Pup Crawls!”
Denise Ippolito the owner of FurBaby Pawtraits (https://www.facebook.com/FurBabyPawtraits) will be providing “Puperazzi photos” to capture the special photos of you and your furry friends and new friends, both two legged and four! She will also offer special packages so that you can have that special “pawtrait” done of your fur that you might have always wanted to have done but never got around to doing. Also 25% of the proceeds of each package sold goes towards helping another fur in need.
Happy Hour pricing and drink specials will apply at all four events! The “Pup Crawl” is also always looking for raffle donations because – “Until there are none, rescue one!”
