Pet Oxygen Masks Coming to Fire Departments
County Helps Organize Local Donation as Part of `Project Breathe’
The Clark County Fire Department and all area fire departments will receive a donation of 175 pet oxygen mask kits on Wednesday, April 13 at 10 a.m., at Fire Station 18, 575. E. Flamingo Road.
The kits, which help save dogs and cats rescued from fires, are being donated by Invisible Fence ® Brand of Southern Nevada as part of a national effort called Project Breathe™ to equip fire stations across the United States and Canada. The local donation is one of the largest the company has made since the program started in 2009. Kits are being distributed to fire departments in Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Mesquite and Boulder City. The Clark County Fire Department helped organize the donation.
At Wednesday’s event, Invisible Fence is bringing a dog so a local veterinarian can demonstrate how the masks work. The cone-shaped masks are reusable and are similar to oxygen masks used to treat humans suffering from smoke inhalation.

What: Pet oxygen mask donation to area fire departments

Here are TWO more Poms “with Pommie attitude”….REAL BEAUTIES. They probably need lovin’ and someone they can trust because they lived their entire lives in a QUIET home with two elderly ladies who couldn’t care for them any longer. They look like stuffed little toys…and DESERVE A CHANCE. The shelter does not suit them and they are not behaving in this environment in a way that will appeal to local adopters, so they have NO chance and shelter director says they need to LEAVE.
I will facilitate any way that I can and will try to arrange TRANSPORT. These two are URGENT so please do whatever you can ASAP.
